The Deluxe Double room was so spacious, I could have hosted a ball in there! And the multilingual staff were very helpful, especially when I played charades to communicate my needs.
The quiet location meant I could only hear the soothing sounds of nature, not the hustle and bustle of city life. How boring!

Title: A Delightful Stay with a Slight Snag
No remote for the TV, because who needs entertainment when you can dress up and descend the stairs in your nightclothes for milk and a phone? Hilarious convenience!

the spacious, comfortable room had a fantastic en, suite bathroom with a revitalizing power shower. the staff were exceptional, with a warm welcome on arrival and attentive service during my stay. the breakfast was top, notch, with a range of delicious options to satisfy all tastes. the bar offered a relaxing place to unwind after a long day of exploring, and the restaurant provided locally sourced, high, quality cuisine.
The limited dining options nearby may be a downside for some travelers.

What a lovely hotel! Our weekend away was made even better by the warm welcome, excellent food, and friendly staff. The ambiance of the building was simply perfect, and we loved spending time in the comfortable lounge and dining rooms. , the breakfast provided was outstanding, with a great selection of food and drinks. We were also impressed by the location of the hotel, conveniently situated close to local attractions. The room we had was very cozy, with a well-appointed bathroom and a comfortable bed.
There were a few minor issues that detracted from an otherwise wonderful stay. The shower room was a bit small, and the showerhead could use some cleaning.

The Golden Fleece Inn was super clean and had a cozy atmosphere with a log burner. The hotel's location is great for exploring Hadrian's Wall and the surrounding area. The staff were really friendly and went out of their way to accommodate us during our stay. The food at the hotel was outstanding - both for the buffet we had for the funeral and the meals from the menu.
Would be happy to recommend.

The atmosphere of this place was just mind-blowing! The log burner in the hotel made it super cozy and homely. The staff were tops, always checking in on us and even providing small heaters when the heating packed up. The food was jaw-droppingly delicious, whether it was the buffet or the menu. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, perfect for a three-generation family. Plus, the location was excellent for exploring attractions like Hadrian's Wall. Super convenient with easy access to the Motorway. And let me tell you, the bar and restaurant were phenomenal, even if a bit pricey. a fantastic stay with excellent staff, food, and amenities like free Wi-Fi and a flat-screen TV. Plus, don't forget to let the hot water run for a few minutes before it kicks on. Highly recommended for a rejuvenating two or three-day break!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Golden Fleece Inn in Carlisle during a transit on my travels. The database provided accurate information about the hotel, allowing me to make a quick and informed decision. The location was perfect for a stopover, with the nearest airport being just 18 miles away. This made it incredibly convenient for me to catch my next flight without any hassle.
The hotel is located on a road that can get quite busy, resulting in some level of noise disturbance.
